6月24日，被查缴死鸡进行深埋处理。当日，贵州省凯里市工商部门和凯里市动物卫生监督部门执法人员，在凯里市一家农贸市场内查缴准备低价进行销售的4000多公斤死鸡。这批死鸡是从广西武鸣运往贵州凯里途中遭遇车祸而意外死亡的。为了避免死鸡流进市场销售，执法人员随即将这批死鸡进行收缴，运至城郊垃圾场作深埋处里。
